Our Limousin beef

We serve only one kind of beef: the Limousin breed, the cattle of this region. It comes from farms in the countryside around Limoges, through a wholesaler in Limoges, and it carries the Viande Bovine Française label: born, raised and slaughtered in France. The origin of the meat and the name of the farmer are displayed in the restaurant.

The beef arrives as a carcass and our cooks cut it themselves, piece by piece. Nothing is wasted: the trimmings make the freshly minced steak, the one in our burgers. Our chef, Mathieu, has been cooking here for 11 years.

The house side dish is the Limousade: oven-roasted potatoes mixed with melted cheese. You can add it to any dish for €1. The potatoes come from one farm, the GAEC Brégaint Henriat in Ambazac.

The cuts, explained

The menu is in French. Here is what the beef cuts are, with their prices on 11 October 2026. Each one comes with a side of your choice, such as homemade fries, ratatouille-style vegetables or tagliatelle, and a homemade sauce: blue cheese (bleu d’Auvergne), honey mustard, pepper, shallot or tartare. The cep mushroom sauce costs extra.
